Vivek Gundotra quits Google+

Vivek Gundotra, senior vice-president (social) at Google+, has put in his papers at the internet company.
Gundotra, an Indian Institute of Technology, Madras graduate, had been with Google for the last eight years. At the company, he served in various senior positions prior to leading the internet company’s social networking venture – Google+ three years back.
Besides Google, he has also been associated with Microsoft for 15 years. At Microsoft, he was responsible for promoting the company’s application programming interface and platforms to independent developers and developing a strategy for Windows Live online services.
